KEEP YOUR DIRECTION

No matter what lies ahead, my direction will not change. I am holding steady and keeping to the path.

Life throws us curve balls, puts roadblocks up, but it’s up to us to find a way around those obstacles and continue in the direction we want to go.

I have been on a personal journey the last few years of becoming the best version of me that I can be. More intentional living and less days that go by in a fog. Along the way I’ve dealt with old traumas that I had tried to keep buried and I learned who I am again after years of just being “mom” and “wife”. There have been a lot of tears and struggles, trial and error. Many, many, many hours of journaling and self reflection. Then, just when I thought I had it all figured out and I pointed myself in the direction of happiness. Life threw me another curve ball, an unknown enemy, degenerative health problems that, so far, have not been diagnosed.

ROUGH ROADS

However difficult it has been in keeping to the path and still heading towards my goal of a more simple and intentional life, every step has been worth it! Most days it would be easier to just sit and waste away the hours. To entertain myself on social media or with movies and television, but I have chosen the more difficult path of not giving up. So even when it’s harder to see the screen, I am still working to fill orders from the Etsy shop, or when my legs don’t want to work, I am still pushing myself to go for walks most days.

While the storm keeps blowing and my future is unknown, I am keeping to the path and still heading in the right direction!

When life throws up roadblocks, do you turn around and give up or do you choose another path and go around?

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
